The Tower contains the controls for the Mobile Loading Platform. This platform needs to be lowered in Who Dares Wins if you want to be able to access the Mobile Base Crawler.
A single sentry bot can be encountered on the ground floor, but the robot is easily avoided by sneaking upstairs.
While in the tower, one of the flying Vertibirds may fire a missile through the broken windows. They will fly past the tower first, giving you time to shoot them with a weapon such as the Tesla cannon.
