Ada Straus is a somewhat hapless doctor living in the town of Novac in 2281.
Background
Dr. Straus can be found either outside her medical tent/portable clinic by a stationary pack brahmin or wandering the area in the company of two mercenary bodyguards. This can lead one to think that she is a traveling merchant.
One of her bodyguards remarks "between you and me, I don't think she studied at an accredited institution", which is probably true, seeing as she says things like, "What are the chances I'll botch the same procedure twice in one day?" when asked for medical assistance.
The other bodyguard will remark, "She hasn't paid me anything yet; should I be worried?".

- When requesting to buy medical supplies from Dr. Straus she will exclaim, "Yeah, and I need sterile medical supplies."

- If you have 'Wild Child' reputation in Novac, Ada remarks that "it's great for business" and to "keep it up". She will also provide a discount on her services.

- Killing her doesn't drop your Karma. Killing her bodyguards lowers your Karma, however.
