Acme (likely Acme Robotics) was a defense contractor for the American government. As per contract 10056-567, it designed, manufactured and supplied humanoid combat robots for the US military, however, they were never widely deployed, for reasons unknown.

Acme brand robots appear only in Fallout Tactics. In Fallout: New Vegas there is a shop in Freeside called ACME Realty, it is however inaccessible.
