There were a bunch of unfinished Enclave/Poseidon projects, that science-oriented characters could complete. One of them was ARTEMIS - project concerning the Light Rail Gun. Ammo: 3 x 15mm EC.
According to demo content it looks like (Gauss system-like) heavy weapon.

- extremely rare 15mm EC ammunition pack more of a punch than 2mm EC one, which is very bad news for armor (notice: 2mm EC was "standard" form of ammunition used in Gauss rifles; dmg: 2d6+15 (17-27) / -20 DT, TL 8),
- Advanced Research perk helps to make railguns - weapons of technology level 8 (as well, as energy weapons, and power armors).
- J.E. Sawyer's Fallout PnP don't mention ARTHEMIS Light Rail Gun and 15mm EC ammunition as present in its world (15mm EC reference was accidental). Railguns were mentioned in connection with its technology level and Advanced Research perk only. It is not certain, if Gauss weapons are qualified as railguns, however it used similar EC ammunition system as ARTHEMIS Light Rail Gun.
