BackgroundEdit

The standard SIG-Sauer 14mm pistol, a large handgun with an ammunition capacity of 6 rounds likely designed for long-range pistol hunting or target shooting. It was imported to the United States from the European Commonwealth before the Great War.^[1] They were decently common early on in the survivor era, but the number of working units has swiftly declined since 2241.

CharacteristicsEdit

Despite its high base damage, the 14mm pistol is ultimately crippled by the absence of JHP ammunition. With the half damage from AP ammo applied, the 14mm compares unfavorably to alternatives like the .223 pistol. If an AP patch is installed, the 14mm really shines as a mid-level pistol, but is still not as good as the .223 pistol.

• One can be found in the Redding police building, in the office footlocker at the base of the bed.
• Usually sold by Eldrige at New Reno Arms. He also carries one on his person, for a player who prefers the more violent route.

NotesEdit

• The 14mm, despite being called a "pistol", uses the submachine gun animation. This prevents certain characters like John Cassidy or Vic from using it, but allows others such as Katja and Sulik to use it.
