The 12.7mm submachine gun (GRA) is a weapon added with the Fallout: New Vegas add-on Gun Runners' Arsenal.
Characteristics
More common at higher levels, the 12.7mm submachine gun is a heavy-duty large-caliber submachine gun (SMG). It features an unconventional top-mounted magazine, which lies parallel to the weapon's barrel. It has a high damage-per-second but suffers from a small magazine capacity and a fairly large spread.
This weapon has more weapon modifications available to it than the standard version.
Durability
The 12.7mm submachine gun (GRA) can fire a total of about 2,495 standard rounds, the equivalent of 119 reloads, or 93 reloads when modified with stacked magazines, from full condition before breaking.

Notes
While this weapon allows for a suppressor modification, the weapon will never be truly silent, only suppressed, and it may still draw the attention of hostiles, even when [HIDDEN].
- The GRA version of the silencer on this weapon, suppressor, is not interchangable with the one for the standard version, silencer.
Behind the scenes
The 12.7mm SMG is almost entirely fictional, though a couple of elements were loosely inspired by the FN P90 and TDI Vector.[1]
Bugs
- Sometimes, despite having the necessary mods, they will not be able to be applied to the weapon.[verified]
