The .44 Magnum Revolver is an iconic handgun used by Clint Eastwood in the Dirty Harry movies. It appears as a a small gun in Fallout 2 and Fallout 3. In Fallout 2, can be upgraded to the .44 Magnum (Speed Load). This weapon returns in Fallout 3, with a scope attachment

Flick in the Den sells this weapon, as does Happy Harry in Vault City.

The .44 does more damage than any other pistol except the Needler Pistol, .223, the Gauss Pistol and the energy pistols. It also fires 1 AP faster; with Fast Shot, and Bonus Rate of Fire, this lets the player fire the gun for just 2 AP, which for the average player is a highly effective four attacks per round.
