A .223 rifle modified and cut down to a pistol. This is a one-of-a-kind firearm, obviously made with love and skill.
.223 Pistol is a weapon in Fallout and Fallout 2.
Locations:
- This is one of the most powerful pistols in the game (arguably the most powerful in Fallout 1), with a good range, good damage and easy-to-find ammo. The only real drawback is its very small magazine size. Despite being slightly outperformed by the Gauss Pistol, ammunition for the .223 pistol is much, much easier to come by. If you prefer pistols over rifles, it's a good idea to keep one of these as a back-up weapon once you upgrade to a gauss.
- When they carried this weapon over from Fallout into Fallout 2, the developers neglected to change the description. While in Fallout this was indeed a one-of-a-kind weapon, you can find several of them throughout the game in Fallout 2, making the description a bit misleading.

- This pistol's appearance is modeled exactly after Deckard's handgun in the movie Blade Runner, right down to its double triggers and red LEDs. The model of deckard's gun was also created from a stripped-down .223 rifle.
